Mission Statement Mt. Zion Center is a community center, a home to a collaborative complex of human services that are designed to meet the social, physical, and educational needs of the residents of northeast Detroit.
Primary Services Head Start program, recreation, tutoring, counseling, mentoring, and community service opportunities, substance abuse prevention, adult education, senior activities, food and friendship program, information and referral, transportation for seniors
Eligibility None for Matrix Human Services. Headstart has federal income guidelines.
Populations Served All ages, primarily African Americans on Eastside. Head Start families and former HS families, especially adults with children in Headstart.
